Make the numbers useful
Compare parking costs for your trip length
Select a number of full parking days to see a simple rate-based comparison. SmartPark’s figure is a base subtotal before tax and surcharge; the airport figures use the published drive-up rates. Your final booking total may differ.
Method: selected days × published daily reference rate. Assumes that many full billable days, no extra time, and no add-ons or discounts. It does not model partial days, grace periods, or date-specific pricing. Short-term parking is excluded because overnight stays are not permitted.

Only collecting a passenger? You may not need paid parking. PHL’s free Cell Phone Waiting Lot allows waits of up to 30 minutes while the driver stays with the vehicle. If you want to leave your car and meet someone inside, use an appropriate paid parking area.
Price is one part of the choice
Which PHL parking option fits your trip?
Terminal garages: for walking access
Upper-level garages suit travelers who want to walk to the terminal instead of taking a shuttle. The PPA describes covered parking and sheltered terminal access. Compare that convenience with the $32 daily maximum when budgeting for several days.
Check the official PHL parking page before leaving home for current closures and access changes. Confirm vehicle-height restrictions if you drive a taller vehicle.

PHL Economy: an onsite shuttle option
The Economy Lot’s published rate is $18 per 24 hours, including taxes and fees. The airport lists complimentary shuttle service to all terminals around the clock, including holidays.
Economy is an option for overnight and multi-day trips. Drive-up spaces remain subject to availability. Check current information and allow time to park, reach the shuttle, and get to your terminal.

A smoother departure
Three checks before you reserve airport parking
01 · Price the full stay
Use your parking entry and exit times, including the time needed before departure and after landing. Review how extra hours, taxes, and surcharges affect the quote.
02 · Plan the terminal transfer
For shuttle parking, allow time for unloading, boarding, and the ride. Follow your airline’s check-in guidance and add your parking transfer time before that.
03 · Keep the details handy
Save the lot address, booking confirmation, and pickup instructions. Review cancellation terms and what happens if your flight returns later than planned.
For SmartPark, follow the current arrival and shuttle instructions. After returning to PHL, collect your luggage before contacting the dispatcher for pickup. Keep those instructions accessible on your phone.

Is SmartPark cheaper than PHL parking?
SmartPark’s advertised base rate is lower than the published airport daily rates shown here, but SmartPark adds tax and surcharge. Compare the final reservation total with the airport’s total for the same stay before deciding how much you would save.
